Since Congressman Tim Ryan was sworn in as a member of Congress in January of 2003, he has remained focused on the economic growth and development of Ohio's 17th congressional district. His vision for the valley includes revitalizing manufacturing (green technology), developing alternative energy resources, creating a regional tech belt which stretches from Cleveland to Pittsburgh, expanding technology development at our local universities and supporting the Youngstown Business Incubator, home to one of the fastest growing tech companies in America in 2007.

This passion has put Youngstown, the 2nd largest city in the District, on the cover of the August, 2009 edition of Entrepreneur magazine. The magazine selected Youngstown as one of "The Ten Best Cities to Start a Business."
