Immediate changes that take place with the new reform

There's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the new health care reform, and Republican rhetoric about the bill - calling this socialized medicine, making false claims that it provides funding for abortion, making the argument that Democrats want to kill your grandma - is utterly false and fear-promoting.

So we're here to set the record straight as to the benefits of the bill, debunking myths about the bill and a timeline for your own personal reference.

Immediate changes that take place:

If you are under the age of 27, you can stay on your parents insurance plan.

If you are sick, you can no longer be kicked off of your insurance.

If you have a pre-existing condition, you will no longer be denied coverage.

The bill caps out-of-pocket medical expenses, the number one cause for bankruptcy in America.

Ends the "hidden insurance tax" on small businesses.

If you like your insurance plan, you keep it!

You can choose your doctor and your insurance plan - the Government will not decide for you.
